Why?

The goal with See it. Be it. was to create educational, meaningful, and engaging content that promotes inclusion and belonging within the workplace. In addition to this, in partnership with our ERGs, See it. Be it. was aimed at highlighting the lived experience of the many communities within Booking.com.

What?

With that goal in mind, we settled on a video interview series to make it approachable and accessible to all Booking staff. See it. Be it. became a monthly video series for Booking.com employees I produced in collaboration with the Inclusion, Diversity, Belonging, and Wellbeing team (IDBW).

How?

Each month, we connected well known external speakers with internal Booking employees for a 30 to 45 minute interview. The interview focused on the lived experience of under represented communities in a modern working environment. In addition to recording interviews, I edited and released each video.

Using Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and After Effects I developed a brand identity for this program in collaboration with the Booking.com IDBW team. This included creating motion graphics in After Effects, video templates in Premiere Pro, and other collateral using Illustrator.

Each month we would meet with external speakers, record an interview over Zoom, and select an interview host from one of our Booking.com ERGs.

Once released internally, we measured engagement by hosting viewing parties, and tracking views. On average, each video would receive roughly 1,000 views and was supported by an internal communications strategy.
