About me
Designing lifelong learning.
Over the past decade I’ve been designing educational and digital experiences for companies and clients around the globe. While I’m originally from Toronto, I have had the privilege of living and working with amazing organisations in Barcelona, Amsterdam, Berlin, and now San Francisco. Throughout my career I have focused on using a mix of technology, education, and design to help individuals grow. My goal is to create well designed simple solutions to address the needs of people in the workplace.
Professional experience.
-
At Boston Scientific I lead the learning innovation and digital design for the EMEA Endoscopy division. In a typical day, I’m working with different teams to identify new learning opportunities and how we can use technology to create lasting experiences.
-
At Oyster I led the curriculum and program development for key learning initiatives. This included developing Elevate: Core, our Leadership Development program, as well as Thrive, our Mentorship program.
-
With Booking.com I had the privilege of being part of a team of talented graphic designers to create digital experiences for our global staff. Our goal was to ensure any programs delivered to Booking staff was educational, enjoyable, and well designed.
-
Glovo is one of Barcelona’s leading tech start-ups, and during my time there I had the pleasure of developing our Partner Education program. This program, translated into 10 different languages, supported our external partners and customer success teams with a fully gamified library of soft skill and on-the-job training content.
-
I joined Lepaya as employee #30 to help build out our digital learning and instructional design team. Lepaya, now one of Europe’s largest EdTech companies, develops soft skill learning programs for clients around the globe. During my time there I focused on how to evaluate the skill progression of learners participating in our programs.
-
At G Adventures, I was the first member of the team responsible for digital learning efforts. Over my time there, we implemented two different LMSs and built the digital learning infrastructure from the ground up. My proudest moment at G Adventures was supporting our non-profit Partner, Planeterra, in developing an educational portal to support local non-profits in growing their business.
In my spare time, I like to.
-
In my spare time, I support non-profit organisations on a volunteer basis to develop their digital learning and instructional design infrastructure.
I’ve supported organisations such as Greenpeace Netherlands, Greener Guest, and WWF in creating digital education programs. -
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of learning from amazing people. In 2023 I felt ready to make the leap into Mentoring others in the Learning & Development field.
I currently Mentor young L&D professionals in a 1:1 relationship to support them to have a thriving career. -
When possible, I love to connect with the larger Learning Technology and Design community through conferences. In the past I have spoken at Conferences such as DevLearn in the US on topics ranging from knowledge management to getting the most out of educational technology.

Growing up in an immigrant family in Canada, learning language has always been a way to connect with people and culture. Aside from my native English, I can speak Portuguese (C1 level) and Spanish (B1 level).
In addition to this, I am also learning French and Japanese.
